Converting inches to millimeters would be helpful. * Take the "measurement tool" and lay it flat on a millemeter ruler and obtain the millimeter or inch readings. This is how you determine the size of each bead using a regular ruler. Count the number of millimeters of the 10 beads to measure. Line up each bead as if stringing tightly. Press the first bead at the joint of the ruler and pencil. If there is a big difference (a full size or moreo), order a 1/2 size smaller than the largest measurement. Line up 10 beads at the top of the ruler, starting at 0. * If you have a wider tip of toe or area of the finger (such as a knuckle), take a second measurement of the widest area. Mark the "measurement tool" where the two pieces meet. * To use a ruler wrap a "measurement tool" (i.e., piece of string, dental floss, strip of paper) around your toe, finger or thumb at the location where you will wear the ring.
